and academically rich college. The most sought after aim of our college is achieving
an academic growth fast enough to improve the life and living conditions of our
teaming students.
Education is the most important natural activity, the backbone of a country’s progress.
It helps to strengthen the very fabric of a nation. The strength of the nation lies
more in the quality of its people than in its material resources.Today we require
high technology with new inputs which are really effective enough to meet the prevailing
requirements along with future aspirants of the countries like India. Among the
new inputs comes eEducation/iEducation
It is a matter of great pride that our college is the harbinger of this revolution
of eEducation /iEducation in the history of all government college of U.P. eEducation
aims at revolutionizing concept of Higher education. Efficient exchange of educational
views is the most remarkable feature of this revolution that eEducation has ushered
in. The new millennium brings global competition in the field of education. In recent
years their has been trnas-continental exchange of concepts and methodologies. Keeping
this in view, we have been trying to accord importance to hi-tech teaching methodologies
and to orient our energies, resources and infrastructural facilities to introduce
courses which are the need of the hour. This will build a positive attitude and
equip our students to respond to complex challenges of the extremely competitive
age. We realise the need to provide both academic rigour and practical application
to student learning. We can not survive and compete with other global challenges
if we do not resort to eEducation. It, certainly, marks a complete break away from
the past.
Our college has played a path breaking role by becoming the part of eEducation.
It aims to link thousands of educational institutions and research establishments
and rapid asses to information, knowledge and opinions from around the world.
Remember, what we are doing now, we are doing for tomorrow. We are building a portfolio
of knowledge and skills pertaining to the vision of our own future in the world.
My staff and I will be pleased to assist you to realise that vision in every way
you can. Nevertheless, training for tomorrow is about empowering ourselves.
Advance level Research activities are also carried out in Botany, Zoology, Commerce,
Economics and English departments. We are also providing higher education in professional
and management courses through Open University as a study center IGNOU (SC-2739)
& UPRTOU (S-27). UGC sponsored Job Oriented Certificate, Diploma and PG diploma
course shall be available in our college from session 09-10 for arts and humanities
students in “Tour and Travel Management”
